The Global Display Solution ( www.theglobaldisplaysolution.com) is happy to announce it’s holiday website sales promotion generated a $956.79 donation to The Oregon Food Bank (http://www.oregonfoodbank.org). The Portland, Ore.-based company’s “Good Karma Sale,” which ran from November 9th to December 18th, pledged to set aside three (3) percent of their gross e-commerce sales to the food bank.

“Though our sale has ended, we are really glad to know the money we raised will provide over 3,800 pounds of food, which equals more than 2,800 meals to needy people in our community,” said Earle Bevins, President of The Global Display Solution.
“I want to also take a minute to thank all of our customers who ordered online to participate,” Bevins continued. “It’s great that this promotion enabled us to give our customers some good cheer and also help the food bank further their mission in the state of Oregon and the Clark County community in Washington.”
TGDS got the idea of the “Good Karma Sale” from Kim Krans, who piloted the idea last year and is looking to expand it this year, at The Wild Unknown ( https://www.thewildunknown.com/pages/good-karma-sale). The promotion is aimed to give business

owners big and small the opportunity to consciously redefine their relationship to the holidays to make them more meaningful.
