​Creative Catering Uses for Bottle Neck Sign Holders

We love it when one of our products finds interesting applications in other places. Such is the case with our  Bottle Neck Sign Holders, which feature an attractive black powder coat that elegantly spirals around the neck of most standard-sized bottles — making them a sleek, yet durable, solution for displaying signs on top of bottles and merchandising in retail, liquor, and grocery stores.

Christy Croghan, event planner for  River City Boat Sales, came across this item and figured it would be a perfect solution for a dilemma she faced planning a VIP Client Reception.

“I was looking for a sign holder to place in tubs of beer bottles to identify them and to use to indicate what food items were inside stainless steel chafing pans so our guests could easily move through the catering tables during a recent reception.”

There often is limited space on buffet tables for free-standing signage (which are often tall, cumbersome and prone to fall over). And, signs taped to the edge of the table indicating the selections aren’t at eye-level, can fall off, and just take away from the look of the catering event.

“And then I saw the Bottle Neck Sign Holders and they were such a simple and effective way to help set-up the catering,” Croghan reports. “You don’t want guests to have to dig through a tub of ice cubes to find the right beverage, and they can stand-alone, too, which is how I used them for the food -- they didn’t take up much space and let guests know what was pork and what was chicken.” Problem solved.
